The dimensions of beauty in a perfect diamond are limitless. They are equal parts creation and nature’s own elegance. We believe that a true diamond must be given the treatment it deserves, to both enhance what nature has provided while still preserving its raw allure and mystic. Our team of talented craftsmen first measure, analyse and judge the diamond; and then proceed to set it simply or elaborately, but with immaculate craftsmanship every time.

‘Carat’ detonates the weight of a diamond, one carat equals to 0.20 grams. Diamonds at Maison de Nitin Goenka are sourced from genuine, trustworthy and ethical sources. Two diamonds of equal carat weight can have very different costs based on other factors such as cut, color, and clarity.

The precise shape and positioning of a diamond’s facets determines the diamond’s general beauty. Diamonds housed at Maison de Nitin Goenka are ideally proportioned and cut to perfection. Cut is the most important aspect in the beauty of a diamond. It is not how the diamond is shaped (round, oval, pear, etc.) but how a diamond is proportioned, polished and faceted. A smaller well-cut diamond can be more expensive than a larger diamond, Maison de Nitin Goenka believes in perfection over size. Our larger loose diamond inventory have the proportions and specific stone characteristics spelled out.

A stone is said to be flawless if, under 10-power magnification, no internal flaws and no external imperfections are visible. Absolutely flawless diamonds are exceedingly rare and priced accordingly. All diamonds are graded for clarity using the industry standard ‘11 point’ diamond clarity scale.

The evaluation of a diamond is based on the absence of color. Maison de Nitin Goenka sets a high benchmark in terms of quality of the diamonds. Our experts determine the color of each diamond by comparing it to authenticated ‘master’ diamonds; a flawless and structurally perfect diamond has no hue, like a drop of pure water.
